A rough idea is fine. If you have just told us it has failed, say so again here.

How well insulated is it?
Loft and walls. This is the single answer that changes our advice most.

What is the roof like for solar?
Anything facing between east and west, without heavy shade, is worth looking at.

Does it overheat in summer?
Bedrooms, a loft conversion, or a room with a lot of glass.
